Hi everyone a mate and i are thinking of going to ironstone hut for a walk and to do a tad of fishing as well, 
can anyone tell us how long it will take to get there from lake mckenzie car park. we are thinking about going next month.

Provided you do not try it via the Lake "track" and use the good one up the west side of the Quarry (old dozer track initially) it should take you around 3.5 hours that is if you can resist wetting a line on the way in
