Walls of Jerusalem Access

Postby Kamron » Sat 22 Oct, 2011 12:08 pm

Hello,

I'm aiming to do an easy(ish) walk in the Walls area next January. I live abroad and I don't have a car in Australia. How would one access the Walls area without a car?

Also, I'd like to be out 3-5 days. In the past, I've done some hard walks including a full traverse of the Eastern and Western Arthurs, Mt Anne circuit etc so I'm no novice but my condition is very poor right now. How much climbing is involved in general? It seems to me the area is quite flat with some peaks that can be bagged with just a daypack.

Any advice would be appreciated.

G'day Kamron,
Access to the Walls without your own transport is difficult and can be very expensive using commercial sources unless you are sharing the hire however you may well be lucky to have your walk coincide with someone from the forum.
