Scotts Peak Dam transport

Postby melinda » Thu 06 Oct, 2011 4:55 pm

Hi all,
Arthurs are calling!
They are saying "..come back, come back, we promise you we'll behave weather wise!" :D :D :D
So, any recommendations for companies providing transport for 4 from Hobart to Scotts Peak Dam???
Last Feb when we were out at the Scotts Peak Dam campsite there was a mini bus that came thru offering transport.
Any ideas as to which company this may have been? (Bus driver was a woman!)
Or any suggests for other companies.
Cheers,
Melinda

Give yourselves a bit of flexibility in times this time Melinda, you just might see something :)

Hi stepbystep,
We had flexibility last time, it's just the weather didn't!
But I totally agree.
Just planning on the WA's this time.

HeHe yeh didn't mean to seem condescending, if just doing WA's and only have 3 days of clear weather in your 'window' try and plan it from Cygnus to Haven, anything else is a bonus, and if you do 1 sidetrip in good weather make it from Pegasus out to Pegasus South, just sensational, and really easy :)

Hi step by step,
No problem.
(Hear that weather gods....., I need Cygnus to Haven clear! Heh, what the heck, I want it all clear!)
Been looking at your photos and those of ILUVSWTAS in last couple of months. (And all the others...)
Just have to give it another crack!

Sod that - you want the good weather for Sirius, Canopus and Carina. Best views in the whole range. :P

Heh nnw,
Since I'm going to all the trouble of going back, I want good weather on all the range.
Hear that you weather gods, 'ON ALL THE RANGE!'
