That's an amazing place and thanks for posting SBS & Azza. Edit - (sorry Azza - missed you out of the compliments first post) Beautiful photos.
It's little wonder people are enamored with that whole SW of Tassie.

I've walked in many gorges and to some its an engineering exercise waiting to be tackled while to others its a place of awe and grandeur and .......
Having seen the Old Lake, I didn't wade into the Pedder debate, but I am glad we have what we have left of the SW for generations to enjoy.

HaHa yeah, the banana peel was for you, doogs thought it would bring back some memories :)

btw - good job doing that in a day it was hot as buggery on the plains...

hahahahahahaha!!! i never got the banana reference!! classic, thanks guys... :( yea it was mad hot! like a frying pan out in the middle! couldn't have asked for a a better day though, glad you guys got up top too b4 the rains!!

Sorry Mr Bix, I think I am hilarious :D Anyway here is an offering from me. The cliffs on the sides of the gorge are huge if I had to guess I would say 150m high.
