east coast waterfalls

Postby timburke68 » Thu 07 Jun, 2012 11:46 pm

Hi all,
Am doing a bit of campervan trip down the east coast next week, planning on checking out Ralphs and St. Columba falls and was just wondering if anyone knows of any other falls that are reasonably close to the coast (St. Helens to Coles Bay) that i could have a look at, will be coming out through the Lake Leake highway, so any on that route as well.
cheers Tim

Meetus and Lost Falls on the Lake Leake highway are worth a look, turn right or left at the roads high point. Douglas Apsley National Park doesn't have any major falls but is certainly worth a look at near Bicheno :D

Compared to the other ones mentioned viewtopic.php?f=9&t=8436&p=111273&hilit=meetus+falls#p111273the the ones at Douglas Apsley are pretty small; viewtopic.php?f=22&t=8173 I did mention it was worth a look in the park though 8)
But size isn't everything
*Funny you brought his up as I am planning to take my daughter to Heritage Falls as her first overnight backpacking walk soon :D
