Higgs Track to Walls of Jerusalem

Postby edwinsoh » Thu 01 Nov, 2012 5:25 pm

Has anyone done this route before? As described in John Chapman's book. A 6-7 days circuit track.

From Westrope Road, follow Higgs Track to the Walls of Jerusalem. After exploring the Walls for two days return via the Northern Lakes and Turrana Heights to Ironstone Hut then return on Higgs Track.

Not sure but the Higgs Track ends at Ironstone Hut. Care would need to be taken to ensure that you are not trapped by a few water ways in the area. But it is open up on the top so straightforward providing mist is not around. Interest in doing something similar so gradually exploring and mapping the area in OSM.

Cheers
