Learn from a legend – join the Lake Skinner track working bee

Volunteers are invited to help with track work at Lake Skinner in the Southwest National Park, and they can learn from a master, John ‘Snapper’ Hughes, one of Tasmania’s leading walking track designers. The work will include stonework, winching, track clearing and bridge construction.

When: Saturday, 8 November 10am-4pm. Bring: sturdy foot wear, gardening gloves, safety glasses, rain coat, water, snacks and lunch.

Spaces are limited so please book your place by 1 November 2014. Contact Environment Tasmania on 6281 5100 or email Annette.Dean@et.org.au.

This project is supported by Environment Tasmania through Australian Government funding.
