walking companion for South Coast Track wanted

Hello,
I am looking for a walking companion to do the South Cost Track. The time frame possible for me is from about 24. November to 10. December 2014.
I am UK-based, traveling to Tasmania on a work-related trip which I would love to combine with a great Bush walk.
I am a highly reliable,experienced mountain walker, and have walked the Overland track three years ago on my own.
But the South Cost track looks like a different kettle of fish in terms of remoteness and length.

Don't count on it.

I went the same time last year, and while there were others at the start, different side trips will split you up.

There are a couple sections where you can get quite lost, mainly where the track is braided due to the mud, this could result in a bit of problems if you are planning on relying on others.

Totally agree. There are usually plenty of people around between mid December and mid February, but there are not so many starters in November. There is a possibility that you won't see many people, and with relatively unstable weather at that time of year, some of the river crossings could be interesting.

Having two people makes the Prion crossing much easier too. I hope you find some willing walkers!
