Severe weather closes parks and reserves

• Narawntapu National Park is closed until further notice due to flooding.
• Mountain bike tracks at Trevallyn and Kate Reed nature recreation areas are closed until further notice due to heavy rainfall and damaging winds. Tracks will be monitored and will re-open as track conditions improve.
• Tamar Island Wetlands – the boardwalk is closed until further notice due to flooding. The visitor centre is closed today.
• Ben Lomond rock fall – a fallen rock on Jacobs Ladder will be removed today.
• Mole Creek Caves are closed until further notice, due to road closures preventing access. Conditions indicate that the caves will be flooded, more information will be posted as it comes to hand.
• Check the Tasmania Police Community Alerts website http://www.police.tas.gov.au/community-alerts/ for road closures.
Cheers - Phil
