Mt Storey or Mt Story

Postby bluewombat » Sat 24 Sep, 2016 9:10 am

Hi all
another query out of the High Peaks in Tassie list
The list has Mt Storey (in the SE section) but I cannot find this on my maps, are they referring to Mt Story on Schouten Island (that makes it a pretty obscure peak indeed) or am I missing something
cheers

Pretty sure Storey and Story are the same..here's a report I wrote ages ago on a trip there. I must get back at some point as it's such an amazing place.. viewtopic.php?f=42&t=6421&p=277004&hilit=schouten+island#p277004

Yep, the Storey/Story with peak-bagging points is on Schouten. I think it's a spelling error on the pb list, which is unusual.
Storys Bluff is on Ben Lomond and doesn't come with points.
