NextG at Lake Rowallan/ Arm River Track

Does anyone know if you get Next G reception at Lake Rowallan or on the Arm River Track?

I'm fairly certain that on the Arm River track you don't get reception. Even from the top of Pelion East it is very patch - so I think the whole of the Arm River is too much in a trough. From the top of Oakleigh and even in some spots going down into From Flats from the North you can pick up a signal - i think as long as you can see straight down the Forth you're OK. I would suggest that Lake Rowallan has no reception either as it is quite a steep valley with no direct line of sight into the lowlands - but I might be wrong...

I'm assuming your issue is to organise a pick-up at Arm River after heading out from a multi-day walk? In which case a climb up onto Mt Pillinger or Oakleigh would give you reception

Possibly a bit late, but yes i'd say tomberli is correct, perhaps Pillinger?.
NextG does get a signal (albeit just) from the highest point of the initial climb (around the back of the hill past (north west of) the sign)...
