Wilmot River Walks

Postby billshep » Mon 21 Dec, 2009 10:53 pm

If you are looking for a pleasant walk in the North West over the summer, check out my Wilmot River Walks website.http://www.webspawner.com/users/billshep/ There is a new circuit walk south of Ellis Flats Road, and I can recommend the Wilmot Gorge.
Most of the severe winter and spring storm damage has been cleared, but take some light tools! There is over fifty km of track and very few people to look after it.

We've done that walk a couple of times (main bit) and heartily recommend it - job well done
Nothing beats a nice camp fire

Thanks Greyim, I am hoping that people will do the more remote parts of the track, as there are parts which would benefit from use. I have to keep clearing bracken etc! I regularly recommend sections of track on my website.
