I had a PLB, had to get off the range to get out though, weather was too rough for them to fly in. It goes to show that it pays to be prepared for anything to happen.

Urrghhh so you had to scrawl down Morraine A or something?? Yeh I have and ALWAYS carry a PLB. Even on small daywalks.

Yeah I hobbled down on one leg using a stick as a walking pole. Do you have your own PLB or do you hire one?

I have my own. Do a fair bit of solo walking so I figured it was necessary.

I'll get my own eventually. I'm only getting away during uni breaks at the moment, so I dont get out as much as I would like, but once uni is over I'll definately get one. Hiring them gets expensive after a while
