Hi

Has anyone been to Nells Bluff recently please? I believe it is accessible from the Higgs Track...

Any information would be appreciated...

Looking at doing this in August :?:

Thank you in anticipation...

Elaine :)

G'day Elaine, Sorry I don't have any info to help here - I'm doing a bit of walking near mole creek early in June and Higgs track is one consideration - although it will be up to date, It might be too late for you though.

G'day Elaine, I walked through snow to Nells Bluff during last winter. From the top of Higgs Track as it reaches the plateau and then flattens, it is an easy task to walk to the highest point ( no track ). You will be looking back down on Lady Lake, or, to the Northern coastline.

Nells Bluff is well worth the walk though it does not have a track from the Higgs Track. I spent a fair bit of time walking over the Bluff removing ragwort during Easter and in that time we did not find a track though rock hopping the whole way would be possible to have minimal impact. The ragwort though will have a devasting impact on this bluff if it is allow to grow unchecked. The vista from the northern escarpment are among the best that I have seen so I am surprised that there is not a track in place.
