North East Ridge - Mt Anne

Mon 18 Oct, 2010 7:35 pm

Hi Everyone,
I made several ascents to the North-East Ridge of Mt Anne via Sandfly Creek back in the 1990's and am wondering whether the track up there is still easily negotiable. One of the most memorable trips I made was a day walk up this side, over the top of Mt Anne and out to Condominium Creek.

Was up there only a month and a bit ago now. It was pretty easy to follow the track, and not really overgrown or anything. I don't recall having too many issues, although there were some fallen trees in the forest below the ridge, but easy enough to pick up the pad again. A fair amount of tape has been used in areas where you otherwise might go astray.

Thanks. That's pretty much as I remember it last time I went up there. Quite a few trees fall over after heavy snow. Sounds like I should revisit somne time soon then.
