Hi all,
we are planning a trip to the Walls then going to the OT and Pine Valley. I've been reading Chapman's book and we'll be going via the Never Never. I have a couple of questions. First off, does anyone have the grid reference for one of the famous logs for crossing the Mersey River? I've done a search on this forum and so far I've had no luck tracking down co-ordinates. I know there should be a crossing before McCoy Falls, but anything more specific would be appreciated.
Also, the reports I've read indicate the Never Never can be hard going, with one suggesting you are better off staying well North of the Mersey R, before the crossing point, and then staying close after crossing. Does anyone that has done made this trip care to comment?
Any other insights, suggestions or generally helpful info would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Peter
