Montezuma Litter Bugs

Postby chow » Fri 22 Apr, 2011 9:54 pm

What a lovely day today walking to Montezuma Falls, even the rain and cold didn’t dull our enthusiasm. What was disheartening is a large group started just before us and all along the track was evidence of fresh destruction of the fauna, mushrooms kicked over, ferns pulled out etc.

This group passed us coming back they looked to be eating lunch on the run (chicken legs bread etc) and whilst some of the group appeared to be dressed for the weather and a 10 km trip others just didn’t appear to have any concept (including the man walking with an umbrella and a women walking in socks carrying her shoes.
Then on our return trip I found the remains on the track of half eaten chicken legs, assorted bits of food and plastic wrappers etc. It makes me wonder what these litterbugs homes look like?
Recent walks, Lobster Falls, Rinadeena Falls, Bakers Beach and the Nob, Shadow Lake Circuit , Montezuma Falls, Holwell

Sucked in on her!
Imagine the leeches, splinters, sharp rocks, etc that she had to endure!
In nature, revenge is sweet. What goes around, comes around. Some people have no concept.
