Well whether our member is spinning yarns or not, that trail is known as "Fracture Track" by the medical center in Swansea, who told me that there is a constant stream of fractures and serious strains coming from there. I've noticed that National Parks has raised the difficulty of the track to medium.

Last time I did the track was with a group of fit teenagers on a school trip, and I had the joy of going to the hospital for two sprains.

Well I was over at freycinet this afternoon for a walk on the Hazards and had a peek in the walks registration book for Kozzies dates. A solo walker did the exact same route, had poor handwriting ;) and a southern Tasmanian postcode. So I guess he did do the walk as said :)

I did doubt that he went there and did that it was just his account of "snakes ,breaks and strains " and language that amused me however I have been proven wrong (perhaps) and say well done Kozzie

Well thats a little more comforting cheers for shareing that :)
i do all my own medical stuff tho open wounds i betadine and stich it up or use stery strips till i can get to the vehicle to stich it up, fevers and what have yous i allways take a heap of doxcylin, codeine for pain and thats pretty much it havent been to a gp in. . . . . . . Cant remember quite ahwhile ago only ever needed them for there certificates and well after learning to make animated movies in various expensive software became pretty easy to make certificates. Not that ive ever had a boss that believed an illness. Id just tell them the truth and theyd get a laugh best excuse was i had to go threw initiation into a hippy tribe so as i was flipping naked threw the air the snake i was wearing as a scarf decided to bite my face as i hit the water. Thered be a pause followed by a seeya tommorrow. What am i dribbleing on about now jesus christ

Hey Kozzie you don't happen to walk near snug/conningham with a shaved head, rat tail, and a hefty home-made walking stick do ya?
BTW: how can you get heaps of prescription only antibiotics without seeing a GP to get a script? better leave the stitching to the pros i think eh?

This has certainly been an interesting read. Please don't leave us Kozzie!!!

No the man with the walking stick is pretty far out tho! He lives just down the road he was growing some plants like waaaaaaay in the open and thought it was strange when the police took them away. Ive been told not to pick him up when hes hitchhiking. Oh and as for the scripts when your crazy most your friends are doctors ;) just kidding . . . . Why do you want to know where i get my doxy and amoxy they dont do anything . . . Recreational. A more intresting story is how i use to get my liquid nitrogen. As far as stiching goes just need the right needle and with a couple stery strips holding the clean wound shut allready its damn easy. If you think thats weird what ever you do dont look up how the kids are getting tattoos these days :)

Just was concearned re stitching in the bush... REALLY hard to keep crap out of a wound in the bush and if you stitch up a dirty wound you'll need a LOT of anti-biotics ;)

mostly better to pack the wound open and get it cleaned and stitched later on. - ps dont forget to lift the wound edges if you do it yourself as the scar will shrink flat later - lift it up and it'll end up flat not as a dent in you :)

and yeah -= sorry to think that it may have been you - no offence intended... he is WAAAAY out there huh (for those who know me a little - that means a LOT comming from me ;) )

How the *&%$#! blue blazes do you injure yourself on that track? OK, if you try running down to Wineglass from the lookout you might manage it, but otherwise?
