Bruny Island

Postby TerraMer » Mon 05 Nov, 2012 2:51 pm

Not a question but just wanted to say this is an awesome island to walk. Just finished walking from Apollo Bay to Lighthouse Beach incl Cape Queen Elizabeth, Cloudy Bay and Labillardiere (saving Slide for another visit). Labillardiere was a bit blah but everything else was great. Not terribly impressed with the $30 hikers entry fee on top of the $10 camping fee at Cape Bruny. Even if it is for 2 months it seems a bit rich just for overnight when I don't have a vehicle. But definitely coming back for some bird watching and twitching.
