Did the Syds Track walk two weeks ago - great walk about 5KM to plateau and return - we did not go any further as the visibilty was very poor.\The track itself is pretty good and easy to follow. We left our car at the start of the track on Westrope Road as the road to the start of Syds Track is in a very bad condition and only the toughest of 4WD could navigate it.

The road in isn't that bad. I drove commie up there 2 weeks ago but the spur that goes to the start of syd's is rough as guts but you normally wouldent drive up the spur any way.

Thanks Gossy. I think you and Tasallan agree. I won't think about driving up the spur.
