Hi. I want to leave early tomorrow morning and climb Du Cane Range (sleep up there) and then on Sat morning, climb Hyperion. ANY tips would be appreciated, especially on the latter, as I know a few people who have tried and failed Hyperion. I think you have to PM me on this one.
Looking forwards to hearing from you

I've heard stories about Hyperion being hard, but it didn't live up to the hype. It's a little bit airy in a couple of spots.
I don't think this give too much away...

There is one slightly gnarly bit where you need to climb up a crack, you'll know it when you see it.
I think we worked out afterwards that there was possibly a slightly easier spot you could climb on the left.

If you are not comfortable with a bit of basic rock climbing and being a few metres off the ground then I could see how you might have trouble.

I am with Azza on this, a bit of climbing experience will go a long way. If you don't like heights then you wont enjoy Hyperion. Remember 'fear is the mind killer'

Here's the tricky bit: the 2 or 3 metres just above the walker.

Thanks SOO much for that photo. It has removed my fear. I was imagining something MUCH worse. We got weathered out in the end, but I will be back!
