Hike/Raft journey

Hello
I am an outdoor rec student at the Murrindindi Training Institute based in Alexandra Victoria.
I am planning a ten day hike and raft expedition in the SW during October of this year. The trip outline is as follows.

Starting at Scotts Peak Dam, hike south along Mckays Track and follow to Craycroft Crossing, continue on The Huon (Yoyo) Track following to the end. Walk Down Picton Road to Farmhouse ck.
At this point we will Swap our packs for rafts and take off down the Picton/Huon Rivers, take out somewhere near Huonville.
We plan to drive to Farmhouse Ck prior to starting the hike in order to leave a vehicle there with our rafting gear.

The problem I have is getting from Farmhouse Ck to the start of the hike and back to Farmhouse when we take out at Huonville.
I would like to get in touch with a charter group or an organisation that can provide a shuttle service down in the SW.
If anyone knows such an organisation I would greatly appreciate the contact.
Any helpful advice or recommendation for the trip itself is also welcome.

The walk along the plains is nice, though i'm wondering why you wouldn't put in to the Huon earlier? (not that i'm suggesting you should..)

Yep, we quickly realized that it wont be cheap. The cost evens out over 5 people though.
If we had pack rafts that's probably what we would do. Also we are keen to hike the Huon track and raft the Picton.
We have two quotes, *&%$#! expensive, still it will be worth it in the end.

Another idea for you -- ten years ago we did the Crossing. Start at Scotts Peak Dam walk the Port Davey track until the Crossing is sufficiently big (from memory about 20km in), then hop on the Crossing river, which flows into the Davey. From there a combination of paddling / hiking across Port Davey to get to Melaleuca and fly out or continue on the South Coast track.

Beautiful trip, great scenery. The whitewater isn't overly exciting (although we portaged the canyon which was flooded and a death trap). We took two small 3-person rafts so two people carried rafts and the rest of the gear was divided among the others.
