Portions of the South Coast Track come to mind. Not to mention all the muddy bits of the Old Port Davey Track. And then . . .

Redo signage on the SCT, The mud I do not mind, but where the landscape is suffering might require it.
Or rather get an extra couple of sputniks e.g. at lake Rhona.

A big +1 on fixing the toilet problem at Lake Rhona!

If they qualified I would've said sputniks for Rhona + Upper Bechervaise Plateau, and duckboards for the Pelion Plains section of the Mt Oakleigh Track.

Oh, god yes.
If the river doesn't get you then the 2m deep holes will. It's not good to step on unless you can see footprints!

Would Weld qualify - the lower parts of the track at least? That's a great place and a bit of maintenance on the track would make it so much more pleasant.

Weld should always remain an annoyance. It's a Tasmanian tradition

Perhaps Mueller track, Wylds and Sth Pictons if they qualify. Got a map/link handy tastrax?

I would second a bit of work on Weld, it is a great walk but the lower sections are overgrown and in places indistinct.

Napalm would be a good start.
