Walls of Jerusalem

Postby Wahzammo » Mon 05 Jan, 2015 3:50 pm

Hi Everyone,

Just got back to work from a holiday in Tassie.. great place..

I just wanted to say that for anyone who has not been to the Walls of Jeruasalem yet, you need too! I can't think of a place that was more inspiring or just straight up other worldly.. We hiked into to some bad weather which unfortunately meant we spent close to 20 hours cooped up in the tent but it was still worth it, already thinking about when I can get back to actually reach all the peaks!!

Glad you enjoyed it. It is a very special place.
The pencil pines around Dixon's Kingdom are a highlight for me

Yes a brillant spot - the weather you had beats the 33 degree days we had there this time last year! In Jan 2014 we were there in a heat wave - it was a bit to warm. In March the year before we had snow in March! This is all part of the beauty of this great location.

I was there last Jan and got sunburnt on Saturday and awoke to snow in Sunday. A truly magical place.

Wow... We we there in March 2013, long weekend. It was pretty hot and all the lakes/tarns were extremely low. There were tons of people.
