Possible Waterfall

G'day all.. Another mystery. I've noticed that there is a road coming off Upper Natone Road (C102), at 41°15'44.88"S 145°49'38.06"E. (312016 approx).
It is labelled "Falls Road" on the 1:25000 Riana Tasmap. Usually, these names are not given for fun, so I'm hoping that there was/is a waterfall somewhere in the area.
Beats me. The road extends (these days), right up to about 41°14'15.64"S 145°50'0.56"E. (341023 approx.).
New logging roads have gone in, which show in the visual images. There are "Numerous Rapids" labelled on the Emu River, just to the west.
Could these be the "Falls" the road leads near to? The land grades and contours suggest that Emu River is the likely area, but who knows?
Falls occur in flatter places than that. Any input is appreciated.
Cheers.. Steve.

I think you'd be more likely to find the falls on Osbourne creek at the point of my drawn arrow.
Osbourne creek is long enough to have a decent flow, and drops much more significantly.
It also looks like the natural, older end of the road is at the creek (and naming a road after it's destination makes more sense).

Good luck.

Thanks icefest.. I appreciate the info. I agree with your thoughts too. I'll certainly try and check it out when we get settled in Devonport, later this year.
I love these little mysteries. There's so much tucked away in the natural realm that we just forget, or that just fades into obscurity with time and generational change. The more we find out and spread it around, the better for all who come after us. Cheers.. Steve.
