western arthurs toilets full

Postby dicky » Tue 13 Jan, 2015 10:41 am

Just so people know was in over new year and toilets at lake oberon, high moor and haven lake are all chock full ie overflowing full
junction creek has a small amount of space left.
take a trowel (should have one anyway) and try and go on the walk in / out from the campground and away from the water catchment, a lot of people seem to be going around the toilet area which is far too close to the water source for the campground.

spoke to parks tas and they already knew but reading between the lines have issues trying to sort out a helicopter, looks like it may be a while getting sorted.

walk is still amazing and if you pick your toilet areas wisely you get to poo with a view.

cheers

I wonder what it's like to christen one of these things. I've never been lucky enough to use one that wasn't very well-stocked.

well ignore this post, bad timing on my side I opened every one of the full ones and just about lived to tell the tale. good they got changed so quick parks seemed to think it would be "not any time soon" hence the post.

We had a spell of good weather. Good to see PWS take advantage of it.

I was tempted to race down to Haven Lake to do just that, but alas, the timing wasn't quite right!

It had been wisely addressed.
