Anyone walked on Schouten?
Can catch a ride over and thinking of spending a few days there in the uni mid year break.
Advantage of a boat is plenty of water can be taken, which is the usually issue with freycinet.
General plan was to setup camp and do a series of day walks.
Have heard there used to be coal and tin mines there, any evidence remaining?
Anything else particularly interesting?
Thanks
Will

It's a lovely, interesting and fairly easy walk up the mountain from what I remember from a lifetime ago. A nice place to go and do a bit of walking, fishing, swimming, "vegging" and generally having a holiday.
