Good points, CN. I made a waypoint at the top of each track on the way up, which could have saved a fair bit of faffing around. Not sure which bit was overgrown, though. I don't recall any really overgrown bits, and I was with a friend with an aversion to scrub. It was mid June when I was up there.
I do need to remember my definition of a good track has become looser in recent years.

There were probably quite a few spots where we had to look around for tapes/cairns.
And I would have missed the sign to the actual 'Stone Hut' cave - it was lying on the ground where the track did a sharp turn, but my observant young friend spotted it. Very cool indeed!
