Walks in the Tarkine

Does any one have any suggestions for walks in the Tarkine area (forest or coastal up to 10 days)?

You say forest or coastal. Would you permit some mountain walking in the mix? A classic walk would be to follow Betts Track from the Arthur dam near Waratah down to the Huon Pine stands at Yellow Creek. From here you could follow ridges up on to Mount Meredith before completing a north-south traverse of the Meredith Range. This would involve some serious off-track walking and by the sound of Bob Brown's notes in his Tarkine Trails book (I've mentioned this in other posts - work that search function!) you could easily spend a week or more on a walk like that.Josef wrote:Does any one have any suggestions for walks in the Tarkine area (forest or coastal up to 10 days)?
