3 capes walk from Fortescue Bay

Apart from National Park permit, can I simply turn up at Fortescue Bay and walk to Cape Pillar? Any booking required?

No booking needed.
If you read the signs at Fortescue bay carefully, you will see that a campsite is provided, but you are not required to use it. It will probably be full anyway, so camp anywhere convenient.
