Has anybody been through Lee's Paddock in the last week or so? If so, was it relatively dry in there, or still a bog hole?

Can't comment on Lees, but Maggs 17 and Arm River track were what I would call typical - not too bad though the odd bog that might be gaiter deep on the track that goes round past the Pillinger turnoff. I didn't HAVE to step in them ALL, I suppose...
Hey, what's a bit of mud... Have a go :D

I walked up to Oxley Falls on the 9th of October Drifter - Like Adam, found the track was 'normal' although the mossy clearings on the way and near the falls were very wet.

Thanks for that Flyfisher. Is the area around the hut still pretty boggy?

Hey guys

A friend of mine camped at Pine Hut Plain on the weekend.......plains have certainly dried up, some of he tracks are boggy in sections but overall pretty good.

Cheers

A group of us were there October 17-18, there were only a few muddy stints along the track - the plains were completely dry.

Hi Drifting . 2 of us went through the Lees on 1st November . Was a little boggy on the way in , but the bogs were drying by the return trip . As there hasn't been any rain in the meantime , i would say it is relatively dry by now. Still a fair bit of water in the creek coming from the snow . There was still a bit of snow left on East Pelion.
Hope that is helpful. If your considering going give me a hoy ..wouldn't mind going again . Cheers Chrisbulldog.

Thanks for that! I was hoping to go last weekend, but my plans got thwarted. Maybe in the next couple of weeks.
