Hi all
Very brief report on the Frycient Walk on the weekend that I did with a club down to Bryan Beach. Summary is one two words, found water. All the creeks are flowing well and the two tanks at Cooks beach had ample water in them along with the insect protein supplement but beware one tap is in a bad way so would not surprise me if one tank lost all its water. If you have been planning the walk but worried about hauling water now is the time to do it. Weather was a bit blowy on Hazards but the beauty of Frycient is a quick walk and you are at a sheltered beach.
Only downside is our winged members of the blood blank collection team. At Cooks Beach toilet I swear the old tall story of them flying away with the dunny was not far from the truth. Also they appear to use the smell of Deet to find you. Ok maybe that is a bit tall but you can tell by the bites if you missed a spot.
Great weekend for a gentle track type walk with opportunity for the pole to be substituted for a fishing rod.
Cheers Brett
