Vale of Rasselas walking track is now open

The Tasmania Parks and Widlife Service wishes to advise walkers that the fire in the Battlement Hills area north-east of Lake Gordon is now contained and the Vale of Rasselas walking track to Lake Rhona and Reeds Peak has re-opened.
Walkers are also advised that Parks staff were flying in the area over the past several days as part of fire management operations and briefed campers at Lake Rhona.
