If you've been in the Philosopher Falls carpark (at Waratah) since 12 June please phone police on 131 444. Did you see a white Honda CRV (rego E40TF) there?
Police are currently searching the Philosopher Falls Track area for missing Belgium woman, Celine Cremer, who has not been in contact with family or friends since 12 June.
Yesterday, police received a concern for welfare report for Celine, who is travelling Tasmania. Today Celine's vehicle has been located unattended in a carpark at the Philosopher Falls Track.
Search and Rescue members, assisted by a Police Drone, have been conducting searches in the area.

From Tas Police FB:

Police are continuing to search the Philosopher Falls Track area at Waratah for missing Belgium woman, Celine Cremer.
Ground search crews, and a police drone are currently at the scene, with the police helicopter to be utilised later today, if weather conditions allow.
To assist in the ongoing search, the Philosopher Falls walking track has been temporarily closed to the public while police conduct both land and air searches in the area.
Weather conditions are poor, with light snowfall in the area.
Celine has been travelling in Tasmania, and was last seen in Waratah on the 17 June.
Police received a concern for welfare report for Celine on Monday afternoon, and her vehicle was located in a carpark at the Philosopher Falls Track yesterday.
Anyone who has been in the Philosopher Falls carpark since 17 June is asked to contact police on 131 444 to advise if they saw Celine’s car in the area when they were there.

A few years ago I made my way down to the base of Philosophers Falls from the south east side of Arthur river. It was horrendously steep and slippery. The main track into the lookout is in good condition and fairly straightforward though.

Recently walked the falls track for the 2nd time.
If indeed Celine went missing off the track somehow, then it could obviously happen again.
Walked in 2 days ago and not a single track marker to be seen?
They spent $1m upgrading the track but couln't be bothered to place markers.
Whike the track is well defined if you happen to be in there late afternoon in gloomy conditions or rain, then track markers would be more than welcome for inexperienced walkers.
Hard to fathom.
