Lost Garmin inReach off King William range

Postby trmj » Thu 20 Mar, 2025 9:52 am

Lost Garmin GPSMap 67i in Reach.
While recently doing the King William range across to Battlement Hills one of our party lost their Garmin inReach. It was set with tracking on, so we know it's coordinates where it was lost (it was attached with a spring lock carrabina which must have disconnected.
We had camped at Restoration Hill, doing a side trip to KW III, before heading off the range down to the plains. It was on reaching the plains that it was lost.
It's coordinates are 55G 433111 5311090.
Avenza maps shows this as reaching button grass, but possibly it is still in forest/scrub.
The unit is Red/Black.
If anyone is doing the King William range could you possibly consider going down from Restoration hill and having a look for it?
It would be much appreciated!!

You might want to consider moving this to the Lost & Found forum.
