Hey all,

As i said i would, here's the report on Saturday's outing.

Kicked off from home about 7am, arrived @ the carpark for Rinadeena about 9am, after a stop at Lake Rowallan for some nice reflection pics.

The track to the car park was clear, someone has been doing some work to make access a little easier. Commenced walking about 9.20am, the track to the falls was in good order, some water laying around in places, as to be expected after the rain we've had. Arrived about 11am, after many stops to takes pics.. :)

After some morning tea, we crossed to the opposite side of the creek & went in search of a particular part of the creek, Pandani's growing in the middle. After about 20 minutes of searching we managed to find it.....very worthwhile :D

Spent about an hour in total in the area above the falls, then returned to the persons from the party who had stayed at the falls, had a bite & made our way back to the car park.

Weather managed to hold up all day. Temperature hovered around the 5 degree mark.

All in all.....was a lovely day.

Regards,
Clayton

Thanks for update.
Many years ago I went into the Walls up this valley.
The track back then started just over the Little Fisher. I was very wary of a very wobbly log bridge.

That route up into the higher country was a delightful one and on the way back we diverted into a small lake below Mersey Crag.
There are (were) remains of a largish hut on the southwest(?) edge of the lake. Anyone know who's that was?

I gather from the 1:25000 the road now goes a lot further and would cut off a lot of walking.
