Soil and pitching tent

Postby Sphinx » Tue 05 Apr, 2011 5:57 pm

Hi fellows! I was just wondering if my ferrino lightent is ok to camp in tazzie or not: this kind of tent needs pegs to be driven into the soil, to stand. So it will be impossible to camp on a rock or hard ground.
So, will I be fine with that, or do i need a different kind of tent?

Thanx :)

G'day Luca,
By coincidence I was checking out a Lightent 1 last night ( on line) and it will be ok to pitch in Tassie as mostly we use tent pegs down here and there will be plenty of rocks available if you cannot get your pegs into the ground however being that your tent has a full mesh inner it will be a tad colder at night (just wear more clothes to bed) hope this helps and enjoy your trip down here .

Come on lads, let's get home. The sky's beginning to bruise, night must fall, and we shall be forced to camp.
