Regnans Falls

Postby iandsmith » Thu 21 Apr, 2011 11:28 am

When I was in the Styx area I went searching for Regnans Falls. I'd read about it briefly in one of the many bushwalking books you Tassies delight in but the falls proved elusive and, though I had written down the instructions, the falls still proved elusive as we couldn't find the start of the track.
Help!
Cheers and have a happy Easter

Bob Brown's 2004 booklet The Valley of the Giants notes the Grid Reference of these falls. The book should be in your library system. Googling shows the falls.

EDIT: No, these were Julia Falls, so named after a supporter, in 2000. Suprised that those are the only falls mentioned in this little book, which covers the area comprehensively.
See 35 Walks to Waterfalls in Tasmania. There's a copy in NSW State Ref. Library.(Trove search).
Google search suggests Julia,Regnans and another Un-named, are close together. The book would give directions.
