Map of Knocklofty Reserve

Postby walktasmania » Thu 07 Jul, 2011 9:07 pm

Hi there - to accompany my walk map of Mount Wellington (see alternative post), I've also prepared a map showing virtually all the tracks on Knocklofty Reserve (West Hobart). It is attached. walktasmania.

I know of plenty more tracks that aren't on there. Have you seen the ones that come from the top of pottery rd. and go up and over that grass hill? I know it may not sound specific, but most trails are fire roads around there and this is single track. Nice place up there, but it was much better before the yellow gravel "red carpet" walks were put in.
Recent Peaks: Snowy South, Ben Nevis, Victoria, Blackboy, Bastion

Hi mjdalessa - yes - thanks for that. I'm sure I've missed a lot of minor tracks - I based it just on what I knew and what existing maps showed. I'll have a search for some of the ones you mention. Cheers walktasmania
