Easy Tarkine overnight hike?
Posted: Thu 12 Jan, 2012 5:54 pmI've been interested in visiting the Tarkine area & wonder if there are relatively easy 3-4 day hikes there (I'm planning to go in early Feb).
Have done the OT, WOJ and NZ hikes previously but had some problems with the knee last year & don't want to overstress it too quickly! Will likely be solo unless I find someone else & don't have a lot of off-track experience also. Don't really need to cover a lot of ground but wanted to camp in the bush for a while.
If anyone has suggestions for other regions in Tas, that would be great too!
