usually the first big dump of the season isnt big enough to start the ski season off in nz. but this one was MASSIVE and early in the season.

Can't believe Temple Basins got 1.8m. What a great start. Im not making it to NZ this year though so Id appreciate a bit over this side of the ditch too ;-)

wind was blowing in the right direction to blanket the eastern side of hte island thoroughly
sorry the alps stopped it from making it to aus....
