I think Stok Kangri is under 6500 and is the highest trekking / non climbing peak in NW India.It is hardcore from the you tube videos I have seen. The high altitude and the conditions are harsh.People do turn back half way up. There is a glacier crossing in the dark due to the pre dawn commencement timings for the summit push.
