That's pretty cool. It'd be a great adventure to 'climb' it from sea level (in India say...) by foot the whole way!

Wayno has posted about Goran Kropp, who used a bike.
In an interesting twist 2006 the British EverestMax Expedition, a 6 person cycling team led by Dominic Faulkner approached from the Dead Sea.
In 2011 another interesting twist SanoBabu Sunuwar and Lakpa Tsheri Sherpa descended from summit to sea using paragliders, kayaks and bikes.
In 2013 a Korean, Kim Chang Ho used a bike and a canoe.
Macartney-Snape is still the only person to climb Everest solo without supplementary oxygen from sea to summit on foot.
