Map Applications for Nepal GHT

Hi Folks
Has anyone used any smartphone GPS mapping systems for Nepal?
Any recommendations?
We have purchased a digital copy of Robin Bousteads GHT but are under the impression that it does not run on Avenza.
Suggestions would be welcome

What format is the map in? You should be able to find some software to convert it to a format that Avenza can use as long as it is georeferenced.

Are you Android or iPhone? On Android there are plenty of offline map apps. iPhone would have some as well. Most of these apps will be able to download variant of OpenStreet Maps. With a bit of looking can find with contours etc.
On Android I use Locus and Orex map apps.
