I'm thinking about going to Japan and also doing a little/long hike between 7-21 days? Obviously I prefer nature/mountains to urban hikes
any recommendations

I read about the Daisetsuzan Grand Traverse a while ago, it looks pretty neat

There's a traverse of the Japanese Alps - from the North Alps through to the South. It's also easy to link different walks.
