Argentina in winter - suggestions?

Work is sending me to Buenos Aires in August. Any suggestions of walks or guides? From what I can tell, winter closes most trekking companies offering muti-day walks and many day walks are not signposted or have complex access agreements. Ive got 6 days in BA but possible 4 to explore the rest of Argentina. Hoping to use a guide/rent company rather than take all the gear.
