Years ago I walked some of the tracks around Binna Burra but not this one.
I think you might be on one of the branches off the Border track. Are you on either the Wagawn or Mt Hobwee track?

I'm on the Border track close to Binna Burra.

Maybe Greg should go next?

I hadn't looked at the comp threads for ages - took a look & recognised it immediately. I've had a few trips into the area, the 1st was a 10-day ski trip in 1978!

What is the name of the peak on the horizon?

We are west of a line from Geelong to Swan Hill. The summit is under 1000m elevation.

I'm off walking tomorrow - probably should have picked an easier photo. It's taken looking south.

This area is known for it's yellow-tailed black cocatoo but I always see wedge-tailed eagles checking me out on the summit. There are many wind turbines to the south & to the north.

Wallaces... I mean... Kelly Hut?

As in the "other" Kelly Hut near Nelse, not Tamboritha?

Luckily I don't own a gun so you were safe anyway.

Indeed it is Kelly Hut near Fitzgerald Hut not too far from Nelse..so over to WFBW.

It is the corang river but not the better known cascades around the rock ribs. These are downstream from corang lagoon (which is just visible at the top of the photo)
