It is, with part of Island Mountain visible in the foreground, en route to Sluice Box Falls

I feel like I have seen that exact view but I just can't place it so I'll go with Mount Tarn - the far southern end.

Could walk to here from the last location in maybe a day? Could be a long day depending on where the regrowth is at?

Literally only a few k's away, but this water takes a lot longer to get to Nowra and you're on the wrong side of the road to nerriga

Edit... going back through the history I've posted this location before

Thanks. Good news seeing as National Parks NSW has closed almost anywhere worth visting, I headed down to the Victorian high country and realised I need to get out more often. What fire trail am I on?

I don't know Greg but I'm assuming a clue is in that statement.
Most likely wrong but I'm going to guess looking towards Nowhere Creek from Governor Rock Lookout Tower.
Don't even ask what my thought process was to arrive at that!

Whilst it is self evident than you have gone completely mad John, due to your enforced lay off, I wish to offer 2 thoughts on your guess.

1. I've never even heard of Nowhere Creek nor Governor Rock Lookout. I need to get out more!

2. you have however correctly interpreted my clue and I am indeed in the general area you speak of

3. Its a well known 2 day walk, and both sets of hills in the background offer walking opportunties.

Keep those cards and letters coming in folks.

Ah, so my enforced madness is useful! I want to visit my local bushland reserve, 10 minutes walk from home (well, probably double that atm) but told I'm not allowed .
Maybe from Cave Hill, Mt Buangor State Park looking towards towards the twin peaks of Mt Langi Ghiran? On or near the Beeripmo Walk?

In my self appointed role as BWA Chief Sanity Officer, I will give you the chocolates, just to stop you from going further into the depths of lunacidal derangement.

I am on the Beeripmo Walk and somewhere near ( or even on) the Sugarloaf lookout. Looking across the Langi Ghiran State Park, with the Grampians lurking behind.

NOT allowed to go for a wee wander to your local park!!! Outrageous.

If you're asking where the photograph was taken, I'd say the walking track up to Beeripmo from Middle Creek.

Background is Major Mitchell plateau.

Thank you Greg. In my lunacy let's wander all the way across the continent. Where is this Osprey nest in WA?
