Yes that's what I was looking for crolly, though I'm probably vaguely between KR and Merritts Spur. All yours.

I was thinking around Merritts but didn't want to blow my chances by saying it. This time I'm in Queensland. The rock formation has a name but normally photographed a bit further along the track.

Still on my bucket list.
Let's stay in QLD. Name the peak, bonus point for my location.

Clue time. There is a lot of zoom. I am on a circuit walk that traverses a different peak, but visited the other side of the peak in view on a separate walk/day.
(If that makes sense

Mt Cordeaux, maybe from Mt Greville?

Mt Cordeaux is correct eggs but I'm on the Mt Mathieson track. All yours.

Funny - I originally had Mt Mathieson but thought a lot of zoom must mean a bit further away.
Next one - in the NT

Sorry eggs, I may have overdone the zoom clue. But a "standard" view of Cordeaux from my position does look quite distant.
Whatever camera I was using is maxed out in that shot.

I'm guessing this is from Karijini, but not sure exactly where.

It's a named pool in a named gorge in that national park

Walpa Gorge is correct. Valley of the Winds is a different location nearby. Both at Kata Tjuta.

Another well known NSW ridge from a low angle.
Fri 26 Jul, 2024 8:26 am
A bit of that ridge is clearer than the sky (cryptic)
The big cloud is very well placed (cryptic)
Zooming in might reveal non-natural intrastructure between the end of the ridge & the low Mount.
Many here will have walked the ridge, descended with difficulty and continued over that low Mount.
