I'm thinking the clue refers to Pantoneys Crown, so might be Baal Bone Point or Point Cameron in the distance.
In that case this is probably one of the numerous unofficially named features in Gardens of Stone NP that aren't on a map.
My experience in the area is very limited, so no idea. See if someone else can work it out.

You're definitely on the right track John - it is an unofficially named feature.

It known as Plain of Shards or Exploded Pagoda, and that's Baal Bone Pt at the back.

Thanks Keith. I'm aware that the GoS and surrounding areas are currently being actively championed by prominent bushwalkers/conservationists.
I'm guessing some of those feature names will eventually make it onto maps but are a bit obscure if you haven't visited them.
